Brie Larson is an American actress and filmmaker who began her career as a child actress, making appearances in television series such as "Raising Dad" (2001–2002) and "Hope & Faith" (2003). She gained more prominent roles in films like “Hoot” (2006) and “21 Jump Street” (2012), but her breakout role came with the critically acclaimed indie drama “Short Term 12” (2013). Larson received widespread recognition and several awards, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and a Golden Globe for her powerful performance in the film “Room” (2015). Additionally, she starred as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, notably in “Captain Marvel” (2019) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). Larson has also ventured into directing with her feature-length directorial debut in “Unicorn Store” (2017).
