Serena, a beautiful German tourist, meets Paris, a chubby Greek loner. During a typical Greek summer, the two drink, talk and bond over water, beer and memory.

HEIMLICH is based on Freud's essay "The Uncanny" (Das Unheimliche), which psychoanalytically refers to something familiar and friendly, which then becomes bizarre, ominous and strange and gives the impression that something unexpectedly terrible is imminent - just as a single frog can announce a plague.
