Heiko Pinkowski

Heiko Pinkowski has established himself as an actor, screenwriter, and producer in the German film and television landscape. After engagements at various theaters, he increasingly turned his attention to cinema, working closely with director Axel Ranisch. He celebrated his breakthrough in 2011 with the tragicomedy DICKE MÄDCHEN (Fat Girls), which attracted a lot of attention for its improvisational style and authentic performances. Two years later, he appeared in Reuber (2013, directed by Axel Ranisch), a children's film in which Pinkowski was also involved in the screenplay and production in addition to his acting role. With ALKI ALKI from 2015, directed by Axel Ranisch, he once again reached a wide audience. In this tragicomic film about alcohol addiction, he played the leading role and also contributed significantly to the production as co-writer and producer. The film Ich fühl mich Disco (2013, directed by Axel Ranisch), in which he played a central character, also brought him recognition. Pinkowski has also appeared in numerous television productions, including Werkstatthelden mit Herz (2020, directed by Uwe Janson) and series such as Doppelhaushälfte. His work has received numerous awards. For his performance in DICKE MÄDCHEN, he received the 2012 German Acting Award in the “Ensemble” category together with Axel Ranisch and Peter Trabner. He was also honored at the Oldenburg International Film Festival for his outstanding performances. With the founding of the production company “Sehr gute Filme,” Pinkowski also implements his own creative projects, which are characterized by his personal style and innovative approaches. Heiko Pinkowski stands for a consistent, idiosyncratic style of acting that has made him an important representative of contemporary German independent cinema.
