Maike Plath

Maike Plath is a German theater educator, author, and director known for her work in participatory youth theater. She developed the biographical-scenic-participatory theater method and founded the youth theater ensemble ACTion. She has published her approaches and experiences in numerous non-fiction books, such as "Biographisches Theater in der Schule" and "MachtSpiele." For her commitment, her work has received several awards, including the Kulturnadel of the State of Berlin in 2011 and the German Teacher Award in 2012.
