Max Gleschinski
Director
Max Gleschinski, born in Rostock in 1993, is a self-taught filmmaker. He co-founded the production company Von Anfang Anders, with which he primarily produces his projects in his home state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. His feature film debut, "Kahlschlag" (2018), garnered festival recognition. For his second feature film, "Alaska" (2023), Gleschinski received several awards, including the Best Director award at the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival and the FIPRESCI Prize.
