Ursula Meier

Director
The French-Swiss director and screenwriter Ursula Meier is one of the formative filmmakers in European cinema. She completed her education at the Belgian Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD). She gained particular international acclaim for her feature film *Sister* (L'enfant d'en haut, 2012), which was awarded the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. Her other significant works include her feature debut *Home* (2008), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and *The Line* (La Ligne, 2022), which ran in competition at the Berlinale.
