Petr gets to know Marie, a young widow and farmer. In the sun-drenched fields of Bohemia, a deep friendship develops between them, but Marie hopes for more than the Petr can give.
Synopsis
When Petr gets a visit from a friend, it quickly becomes clear, that he is unsure of himself, his sexuality and his feelings. With magnificent cinematography, Sláma begins with the tale of two vulnerable, melancholy characters and the development of a warm and caring friendship.
