Twins separated at birth, identical in appearance and shamelessness, finally get to know and love each other...

A young man who loves himself more than anyone else discovers a secret that turns his life upside down. After the death of his grandmother, he finds out that his mother, whom he believed to be dead, is still alive—and that he has a twin brother who was raised in a remote monastery by an obscene priest. When the brothers meet, they recognize not only their physical resemblance, but also a deeper connection that goes beyond mere mirror image. Their reunion ignites a web of desire, revenge, and redemption that forces them to confront their past and their deepest desires.

SAINT-NARCISSE, the latest film from cult Canadian director Bruce LaBruce, premiered in 2020 at the Giornate degli Autori at the Venice International Film Festival. The film won the Fanheart3 Award “Graffetta d'Oro” for Best Film. It has also been screened at international festivals such as the Sitges Film Festival, the Busan International Film Festival, and the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal.

With its unique style combining elements of camp, eroticism, and black humor, SAINT-NARCISSE offers a provocative reinterpretation of the myth of Narcissus and explores themes such as identity, self-love, and family ties.
