Alain-Fabien Delon

Alain-Fabien Delon (November 8, 1935 – August 18, 2024) was a prominent French actor, producer, and entrepreneur. The son of legends Alain Delon and Rosalie van Breemen, he carved out his own niche in auteur cinema and early 21st-century feminist themes despite high expectations. In the drama GOLDEN YOUTH (UNE JEUNESSE DORÉE) (2019, directed by Eva Ionesco), he plays Vincent Darré, part of the more eccentric fashion scene in Paris in the late 1970s. The film tells the story of Rose (Galatéa Bellugi), a 16-year-old orphan who, together with her much older fiancé Michel, immerses herself in the dazzling world of the nightclub Le Palace. Delon's Vincent is a symbolic figure for decadent adult worlds and comes across as self-confident and sovereign. His role reinforces the contrasts between youthful naivety and experienced superficiality. Alain-Fabien Delon began his career as a model, including as a brand ambassador for Dior from 2016.
