Aljoscha Stadelmann

Aljoscha Stadelmann, born in Wuppertal in 1974, is a distinguished German actor with extensive theater and television experience. He studied acting at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater from 1994 to 1997 and subsequently appeared at prominent theaters such as Schauspiel Leipzig, Theater Basel, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schauspiel Hannover, and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. In the documentary MOSCHEE DE (2016, directed by Mina Salehpour & Michał Honnens), Stadelmann plays the role of a convert who takes sides in a neighborhood conflict in Berlin over the construction of a mosque. The film is based on real interviews with residents living near a new mosque and shows different perspectives between rejection, integration, and identity. Stadelmann embodies a realistic character whose inner transformation and attitude reflect social tensions. In addition to this role, Stadelmann is known as the lead actor in the ARD crime series “Harter Brocken,” where he has played village policeman Frank Koops since 2015. He has also appeared in feature films such as “Carlos – Der Schakal,” “Die kommenden Tage,” “Freiland,” “Die Wolken von Sils Maria,” “Die Hannas,” and “Die Habenichtse.” His versatility ranges from series such as “Tatort,” “Ein starkes Team,” and “Wilsberg” to challenging theater roles at the Berliner Ensemble.
