Andrea Aste

Director

Italian animation director and illustrator Andrea Aste creates visually compelling works. His animated short film 'Il Gioco del Silenzio' (The Game of Silence) (2009) was honored with a special jury mention at the Visioni Italiane festival and was selected for the Annecy Film Festival, among other recognitions. His later project 'Identi-Tay' (2018) also screened at numerous international festivals and received awards, such as Best Animation at the New York Film Awards. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Aste is also active as an author and illustrator for book projects.
