Asmahan

Asmahan was a Syrian singer and actress who achieved fame in the 1930s and 1940s. Born in 1912 (or 1915), she possessed a powerful and emotive voice, which made her one of the most celebrated singers of her time. Her musical style blended classical Arabic traditions with modern influences. Asmahan also starred in a few Egyptian musical films, showcasing her acting and singing talents.
