ActorThe director and writer Benjamin Bay, born in 1989, studied documentary film directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His graduation film, the feature-length documentary 'Krähen und Kalifen' (Crows and Caliphs, 2018), was nominated for the FIRST STEPS Award. Furthermore, the film was screened in competition at the 2019 Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis. His earlier works during his studies include the documentary 'Valentin' from 2016.
