Bertrand Bonello

Born in Nice in 1968, French filmmaker Bertrand Bonello works as a director, screenwriter, and composer. His works are regularly screened at major international film festivals; his early film *The Pornographer* (2001) was honored with the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes. His other acclaimed works include the Palme d'Or-nominated dramas *House of Tolerance* (2011) and *Saint Laurent* (2014). More recent projects, such as *Coma* (2022), which won an award at the Berlinale, and the Venice Film Festival competition entry *The Beast* (2023), confirm his artistic relevance.
