DirectorBorn in Munich in 1972, director and writer Christoph Hochhäusler is a formative figure in contemporary German cinema. After studying at the University of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich, he became known as a co-founder of the film magazine 'Revolver'. His works are frequently associated with the cinematic movement known as the Berlin School. He gained international attention with films such as *The City Below* (2010), which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. His feature *Till the End of the Night* (2023) ran in the main competition of the Berlinale.
