Christoph Maria Herbst, born in Wuppertal in 1966, is one of Germany's best-known actors and comedians. He rose to fame primarily through his role as Bernd Stromberg in the comedy series of the same name, which earned him cult status. In 2015, he appeared in the cinema film DIE KLEINEN UND DIE BÖSEN (The Little Ones and the Bad Ones), a tragicomedy by Markus Sehr, in which he played the role of Benno Meurer.
