Ekhard Hahn

Ekhard Hahn, born in Herne in 1970, is a German filmmaker and screenwriter. He completed his studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM). Together with Til Schweiger, he wrote the screenplay for the feature film "The Polar Bear" (1998). His short film "Krieg" ("War") (1998), which Hahn directed and wrote, received multiple awards. Among its prizes are the 1999 Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Short Film Award and the Jury Award from the Hamptons International Film Festival.
