ActorBorn in 1973, French actor Élodie Bouchez established herself early on as a formative figure in European cinema. For her performance in André Téchiné's drama *Wild Reeds* (1994), she received the César Award for Most Promising Actress. The pinnacle of her career to date was marked by *The Dreamlife of Angels* (1998), a role that earned her both the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival and another César.
