She began her acting career in the late 1990s with roles in films such as "Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror" and "A Night at the Roxbury." However, it was her role in the crime thriller "Training Day" (2001) that brought her significant attention. Mendes went on to star in a number of successful films, including "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003), "Hitch" (2005), "Ghost Rider" (2007), and "The Other Guys" (2010). In addition to acting, Mendes has also worked as a model and has been the face of several major brands. She ventured into business with her fashion collection for New York & Company and a makeup line with Circa Beauty.
