Born in Lugano in 1985, filmmaker Francisco Gómez holds Swiss and Spanish citizenship. He completed his studies in Visual Communication with a focus on film at SUPSI in 2011. His short films have gained international attention and have been presented multiple times at the Locarno Film Festival. These include his work *Maloja* (2018) as well as the more recent film *Pater Noster* (2024), which was invited to the competition of the festival's 77th edition.
