Franz Rogowski
ActorFranz Rogowski is a German actor known for his work in both film and theater. He has appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films, including Victoria (2015), Toni Erdmann (2016), In the Aisles (2018), A Hidden Life (2019), and Great Freedom (2021). Rogowski also impressed in early works such as LOVESTEAKS (2014), an unconventional romantic drama that captivates with its improvised narrative style and Rogowski's authentic performance. In FRONTALWATTE (2011), a poetic tragicomedy, he already showed his extraordinary talent for embodying complex and empathetic characters. Rogowski has received several award nominations for his achievements, including a nomination for the European Film Award for Best Actor for his role in “In the Aisles”. In addition to his film work, he has also been praised for his theater performances in Germany and is considered one of the most versatile actors of his generation.
