Gerard Malanga

Gerard Malanga is an American poet, photographer, filmmaker, actor and curator. He is best known for his work with Andy Warhol at the Factory during the 1960s, where he was involved in various film projects and collaborations. He co-founded Interview Magazine with Warhol. Malanga has also published numerous books of poetry and photography and directed several films. He has lectured extensively on Warhol and his own work. He is considered an important figure in the Pop Art movement and a chronicler of underground culture.
