Hafsia Herzi
Actor
Hafsia Herzi, born in Manosque in 1987, is a French actor and director. She had her acting breakthrough in 2007 in Abdellatif Kechiche's film *The Secret of the Grain* (*La Graine et le Mulet*). For this performance, she received numerous accolades, including the Marcello Mastroianni Award at the Venice Film Festival and a César for Most Promising Actress. In addition to her work in front of the camera, Herzi has also established herself as a filmmaker. Her directorial debut, *You Deserve a Lover* (2019), premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, as did her subsequent work *Good Mother* (2021), which won an award in the Un Certain Regard section.
