Hans Löw (born 1976 in Bremen) is a German theater, film, and television actor and the son of Swiss actor Jürg Löw. He grew up in Stuttgart and attended the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 1997 to 2001. He had his first engagements at the Munich Kammerspiele. From 2001 to 2009, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, where he received the Boy Gobert Prize for best young actor in 2004. Since the 2020/21 season, he has once again been a member of the Thalia Theater ensemble. He made his film debut in Männer wie wir (2004, directed by Sherry Hormann). Other notable film roles followed in Knallhart (2006, directed by Detlev Buck), Chiko (2008, directed by Özgür Yildirim), Rubbeldiekatz (2011, directed by Detlev Buck), Hedi Schneider steckt fest (2015, directed by Sonja Heiss), In my Room (2018, directed by Ulrich Köhler), Alles ist gut (2018, directed by Eva Trobisch) and Toni Erdmann (2016, directed by Maren Ade). A particular highlight of his career is ALL MY LOVING (2019, directed by Edward Berger), in which he plays the role of Tobias Hoffmann. Löw also has a strong presence on television, with appearances in various episodes of Tatort, including Polizeiruf 110: Einer trage des anderen Last (2012, directed by Christian von Castelberg). His other TV productions include the series Charité, Ich bin dein Mensch (2021, directed by Maria Schrader) and Wir sind dann wohl die Angehörigen (2022, directed by Hans-Christian Schmid). In 2023, he was in the main cast of the internationally acclaimed Netflix series Liebes Kind, which won an International Emmy for Best Miniseries.
