Jake Lacy

Jake Lacy, born on February 14, 1985, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, is an American actor who has made a name for himself in both film and television. He studied at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and began his career with roles in series such as Better with You and the final season of The Office. He has appeared in several notable film productions: In the humorous comedy Obvious Child (2014), he played the male lead opposite Jenny Slate. This was followed by roles in Carol (2015, directed by Todd Haynes), in which he played the protagonist's boyfriend, and Love the Coopers (2015, directed by Jessie Nelson), in which he portrayed a young soldier named Joe. In 2016, he appeared in How to Be Single (directed by Christian Ditter), followed by appearances in Their Finest (2016) and Miss Sloane (2016, directed by John Madden) – both films with a political or historical background. Jake Lacy gave a particularly impressive performance in the drama DIANE (2018, directed by Kent Jones), in which he played Brian, the drug-addicted son of the title character.
