Jannis Alexander Kiefer

Director
Jannis Alexander Kiefer, born in Gießen in 1989, is a German director and filmmaker. He pursued his studies in scenic arts at the University of Hildesheim before specializing in directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He gained widespread recognition with his short film *KOLLEGEN* (2020), which was honored with the German Short Film Award in Gold. The film also received the Audience Award at the 2021 Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival. His more recent works include the short film *IT'S A MATCH* (2022), which was also screened at festivals.
