He co-created the HBO comedy-drama series "Togetherness" and has appeared in films such as "The Puffy Chair," "Cyrus," and "Jeff, Who Lives at Home." Duplass and his brother, Mark Duplass, are credited with helping to popularize the mumblecore film genre.
