Johannes Scheidweiler

Filmmaker Johannes Scheidweiler, born in Heinsberg in 1996, has been studying documentary film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) since 2020. His work gained recognition even during his studies. His film 'Reise nach Nirgendwo' (Journey to Nowhere, 2023) received a nomination for the Young Talent Award at the 2024 German Documentary Film Awards. Furthermore, his graduation film 'Am Ende des Regenbogens' (At the End of the Rainbow, 2024) was featured in competition at DOK.fest München.
