Josef Attanjaoui is a director and screenwriter who graduated from the Hamburg Media School. His graduation film, "Der Marokkaner" (The Moroccan) from 2020, earned him significant recognition. For this work, he was honored with the Studio Hamburg Young Talent Award for Best Director in 2021 and also received a nomination for the First Steps Award. His earlier works as a filmmaker include the 2018 short film "Aisha".
