Joseph Amenta
DirectorJoseph Amenta is a Toronto-based filmmaker and a graduate of Sheridan College's film program. Their feature debut, *Soft* (2022), which focuses on the lives of queer youth, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). For this work, Amenta received a nomination for the John Dunning Best First Feature Award at the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards. Previous works include the short film *Flood* (2019), which was also presented at TIFF.
