Julian Adam Pajzs (born March 13, 1987, in Weilheim, Upper Bavaria) is an Austrian jazz guitarist, film composer, and musician. He comes from an artistic family; his mother is actress Adele Neuhauser and his father is director Zoltan Paul. After studying jazz guitar in Graz and Weimar, he played in bands such as the trio Edi Nulz and the progressive metal duo PeroPero, with whom he performed internationally. In 2017, he appeared in the film BREAKDOWN IN TOKYO (directed by Zoltan Paul), a tragicomedy with documentary elements in which he plays the role of a son whose band embarks on a chaotic tour of Japan. He has also worked as a composer for films such as Unter Strom (2008, directed by Zoltan Paul), Frauensee (2012, directed by Zoltan Paul), and Amok (2014, directed by Zoltan Paul). No major prizes or awards have been documented for his work to date, but he enjoys recognition in the independent music scene and in the field of alternative film production. His projects have been presented at festivals such as Achtung Berlin, among others, and showcase his versatility between acting, music, and composition.
