Julie Depardieu
ActorJulie Depardieu, born on June 18, 1973, in Paris, is an award-winning French actress and daughter of actor Gérard Depardieu. She made her film debut in 1994 in The Resurrection of Colonel Chabert. She had her breakthrough as an actress in 2003 with La Petite Lili (directed by Claude Miller), for which she received both the César Award for Best Supporting Actress and Best Young Actress in 2004. This was followed in 2004 by Podium (directed by Yann Moix), in 2006 she starred in Blame It on Fidel (La Faute à Fidel, directed by Julie Gavras), and in 2007 she appeared in Rush Hour 3 (directed by Brett Ratner). For her role in A SECRET (original title: Un secret, 2007, directed by Claude Miller), she was again awarded a César for Best Supporting Actress.
Other well-known works include Mathilde – A Great Love (original title: Un long dimanche de fiançailles, 2004, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet), Love Me (2000, directed by Laetitia Masson) and Female Agents – Secret Mission Phoenix (original title: Les Femmes de l'ombre, 2008, directed by Jean-Paul Salomé).
