ActorKaty Karrenbauer was born on December 31, 1962, in Duisburg and is a German actress, voice actress, singer, and author. She made her breakthrough with the role of Christine “Walter” in the series Hinter Gittern – Der Frauenknast (Behind Bars – The Women's Prison). She later established herself in cinema and has been honored with awards.
In the feature film HÄRTE (2015, directed by Rosa von Praunheim), she plays the mother of Andreas Marquardt—a central role in the biography about violence and redemption.
