Kawsie Chandra

The London-based, British-Sri Lankan filmmaker Kawsie Chandra is a graduate of the London Film School. Her debut feature film, "Padam" (2022), which was also her graduation project, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. For this work, she was included on the longlist for the BIFA Discovery Award. Her earlier works include the short film "Jaya" (2021). In 2024, Kawsie Chandra was selected as a participant for Berlinale Talents, highlighting her recognition in the industry.
