Klaus Brömmelmeier
ActorKlaus Brömmelmeier, born in 1971, is a versatile actor and speaker who is a formative figure in the German-speaking theater landscape. After his studies at the ZHDK, he began his career at the Theater Freiburg (i. Br.), where he was awarded the German Director's Prize in 1999 for his portrayal of Hamlet.
From 2000 to 2007, Klaus Brömmelmeier was a member of the Theater Basel ensemble and from 2009 to 2019 was a member of the permanent ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Zürich. Guest engagements have taken him to renowned theaters such as the Theater Bern, the Residenztheater Munich, the Ruhrtriennale Bochum and the Burgtheater Vienna.
In addition to his theater work, Klaus Brömmelmeier is a sought-after speaker on the radio and an increasingly present performer in film and television. He also passes on his knowledge as a lecturer and coach, among others at the Bern University of the Arts and the Lied Academy, which has been held annually since 2020. His career stands for artistic diversity and impressive commitment.
