The Saviour

Leonie Parusel, born on October 8, 1983, in Lübeck, is a German actress with a solid presence in cinema, TV, and short films. After studying acting (2004–2007) at the Academy of Performing Arts in Regensburg, she began appearing in several short films in 2007 and had a supporting role in Method (directed by Ulas Inac) in 2009.

This was followed by appearances in short films such as The Saviour (2014, directed by Charlotte Roustang) and the role of Clara in the short film DER ERLÖSER VON TEMPELHOF (2014, directed by Charlotte Roustang), a 30-minute short film that addresses the existential questions of a generation in contemporary Berlin. She has appeared on television in TV films such as Zwei verlorene Schafe (2016, directed by Sylke Enders) and series such as Opa wird Papa (2018), Der Bulle und das Biest (2019), and Hanna (2019).
 
Between 2020 and 2021, she played Melanie Leroc in the Herzkino series Ein Tisch in der Provence (directed by Frauke Thielecke / Dagmar Seume), and from 2020 she appeared as Anne Brenner in the series Tiere bis unters Dach. In 2024, she took on a recurring role in Dr. Nice – Herzflattern. In her work, she combines a keen sensitivity for characters with a balance between short film artistry and TV series expertise.
