DirectorThe filmmaker Markus Tiarks, born in Lübeck in 1993, completed his directing studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His graduation film, the short 'Echo' (2022), was screened at various festivals, including the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis and the Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg. He built on this success with his subsequent work, 'Sag mir, wo du stehst' (2024). For this short film, he received a nomination for the prestigious FIRST STEPS Award in 2024.
