Matt Carter is a British filmmaker who brings his versatility as a director, screenwriter, cinematographer, VFX artist, photographer, and musician to his work. He became known for the feature film In from the Side (2022), in which he combined directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and music. At the same time, he established himself over many years as a visual effects specialist, working for international broadcasters and film productions. Carter's artistic signature combines technical precision, visual aesthetics, and musical sensibility into a unique expression that makes him a distinctive voice in independent British cinema.
