Born in Bern in 1993, actor Max Hubacher is one of the most distinguished performers of his generation in the German-speaking world. He had his breakthrough in 2011 with the leading role in the drama 'The Foster Boy' ('Der Verdingbub'), for which he received the Swiss Film Award. His work gained further recognition through challenging roles in films like 'The Captain' (2017), for which he won the Bavarian Film Award, and 'Mario' (2018), which earned him his second Swiss Film Award. He completed his training at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig and was most recently seen in the series 'Lauchhammer' (2022), among other projects.
