Meike Droste
ActorThe actor Meike Droste, born in 1980 in Bobingen, completed her training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. Following her graduation, she held long-term engagements at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and the Deutsches Theater Berlin. She became known to a wide television audience primarily through her role as police commissioner Bärbel Schmücker in the cult series *Mord mit Aussicht* (2008–2014). She also demonstrated her acting range in productions like the television film *Der große Rudolph* (2018) and the series *Wendehammer*. For her work, she was honored with the Ulrich Wildgruber Prize in 2009.
