ActorMirjam Mesak is studying directing at the University of Television and Film (HFF) Munich. Her short film 'SOLASTALGIA' (2024) was selected for the Next Generation Short Tiger 2024 program, an initiative by German Films and the FFA. As part of this selection, the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. 'SOLASTALGIA' was also previously honored with the FFF-Förderpreis for Best Production at the Filmschoolfest Munich in 2023. Her earlier work includes the 2022 short film 'ECHO'.
