The Egyptian filmmaker and screenwriter Mohamed Diab has established himself internationally with socially critical and politically relevant works. His directorial debut, *Cairo 678* (2010), addressed the issue of sexual harassment in Egypt and received worldwide attention. His film *Clash* (2016) gained significant acclaim, opening the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. His drama *Amira* (2021) was also screened at prestigious festivals, including Venice. He became known to a broader audience as the head director and an executive producer of the Marvel series *Moon Knight* (2022).
