Natalie MacMahon is an actress, director, screenwriter, and founder of the Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin. Her career began with numerous short films and web series that were shown at international festivals and gave her room to experiment. Today, she works on feature films that are characterized by strong, complex female characters and a cross-genre narrative style. An important contribution to her filmography is the short film LIKE A SUMMER SONATA (2016, directed by Natalie MacMahon). The work was staged as a poetic drama and found its way onto international platforms such as Prime Video. With this film, MacMahon made an artistic statement that further strengthened her reputation in the international short film scene. She also received special attention for the film THE MAN WHO COULDN'T CRY (2015, directed by Natalie MacMahon).
