Nina Hoger
ActorNina Hoger, born on March 24, 1961, in Hamburg, is a German actress who became known for her versatile roles in film and television. As the daughter of Hannelore Hoger, she grew up in an artistic environment and found her way to acting at an early age.
Nina Hoger made her film debut in 1979 in the television play “Fallstudien.” She gained widespread recognition for her role in the youth drama “Flucht nach vorn” (Escape Forward), for which she was awarded the German Film Prize. This was followed by numerous roles in productions such as “Kommissarin Goedecke,” “Die Bertinis,” “Die Dienstagsfrauen,” “Tatort,” “Um Himmels Willen,” and “SOKO Köln.” Her roles range from haunting character studies to pointed supporting characters in series contexts.
In the episodic film DIE HELDEN AUS DER NACHBARSCHAFT (The Heroes from Next Door), she played the role of television presenter Erika. The big-city portrait shows the lives of various characters in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district with quiet irony and was praised for its subtle blend of tragedy and comedy.
In the television film Zurück ans Meer (Back to the Sea), she appeared on camera alongside her mother in 2021. The family drama impressed not only with its dense staging, but also with the harmonious interplay between the two actresses.
