Philippe Falardeau is a Canadian director and screenwriter known for his work in both French and English-language films. He gained international recognition with his film "Monsieur Lazhar," which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2012. Falardeau has also directed other acclaimed films such as "The Good Lie" and "My Internship in Canada." In addition to his work in film, he has directed episodes of TV series like "The Good Doctor" and "The Umbrella Academy."
