ActorThe American artist Annie Clark, known as St. Vincent, is primarily active as a musician but has also expanded her work into filmmaking. She made her directorial debut with a segment for the horror anthology film *XX*, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. Together with Carrie Brownstein, she co-wrote the screenplay for the psychological thriller *The Nowhere Inn* (2020), in which she also stars. In this mockumentary-style film, Clark portrays a fictionalized version of her own stage persona.
