Tom Hiddleston

Tom Hiddleston is a British actor who has earned an outstanding reputation for his versatility in theater, film, and television. Born and raised in London and Oxford, he studied classical antiquity at Cambridge before perfecting his acting skills at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Hiddleston made his breakthrough with the role of Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Thor (2011). He has played this character several times, including in The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). At the same time, he worked with auteur filmmakers such as Woody Allen in Midnight in Paris (2011), Jim Jarmusch in Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), and Guillermo del Toro in Crimson Peak (2015). He also starred in Kong: Skull Island (2017) and other major productions. He began his stage career in plays such as Cymbeline and Ivanov, for which he won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Newcomer, among others. He later took on title roles such as Coriolanus and appeared in Betrayal in New York in 2019, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award. Hiddleston has received numerous awards and nominations for his work in film and television, including a Golden Globe for his role in The Night Manager and Emmy nominations. His audience and critical acclaim, his sense of style, and his stage presence make him one of the most distinctive actors of his generation.
