Vassili Schneider was born on January 9, 1999, in Montreal, Canada, and is a French actor of Russian-Jewish and French descent. He is the youngest of five brothers in an artistic family. His mother worked as a pianist and model, while his father was a dancer and director. Schneider began his acting career at a young age and quickly established himself as a promising young actor in French cinema. His most notable films include The Count of Monte Cristo from 2024, in which he played an important role. In THE END OF LOVE from 2019, directed by Keren Ben Rafael, he played the character of Romeo. The film is about a couple who live apart in Paris and Tel Aviv and try to maintain their relationship through video calls. Other notable works include Possessions from 2020, Voltaire High - Die Mädchen kommen from 2021, where he took on the role of Joseph Descamps, and Notre-Dame in Flames from 2022. On television, Schneider appeared in the popular series Agatha Christie: Murderous Games as Antoine and played the role of Erwan Ribois in HIP: Investigator with a Murderous IQ.
