Synopsis
Berlin-based, Italian multi-talent Daniela Lucato was inspired by a love poem written by Christina Rossetti for her internationally recognized short film THE BIRTHDAY.
The story: Ron is a young Taiwanese girl who lives in Berlin. On her birthday her best friend May comes to visit. Ron is secretely in love with May but she keeps May in the dark about her feelings. May though has a feeling that something is up and both of their lives are about to change.
Filmmaker Daniela Lucato met the actress Vivian Yung Chang at a workshop in Berlin and wrote the role 'Ron' especially for her.
