Synopsis
Marczak follows new FUCK FOR FOREST recruit Danny as he moves from Bergen, Norway to progressive and permissive Berlin and joins the libidinous eco-warriors. Largely eschewing talking heads, Marczak stays like a fly in the grass as he observes the group's activities in the parks of Berlin – shooting photos and films. FFF members are given the airtime to reflect their work in their own words. The film's climax is a trip to the Amazon rainforest where FFF hopes to put their charity to good use, but things don't go according to plan – or maybe there wasn't really a plan to begin with...
“Scribe-helmer Marczak (“At the Edge of Russia”) manages to turn the pic into something more than just a portrait of a few idealistic nuts who hope to right all the world’s wrongs by simply giving in to the desires of the flesh; the eye-opening quality of the trip is what lends the docu its pleasing, scorpion-like sting in the tail.” (Variety)
